Brian Francis Slattery is a journalist and the author of four novels (Spaceman Blues, Liberation, Lost Everything, The Family Hightower) and numerous short stories. He also plays a variety of instruments in The Moon Shells, Dr. Caterwaul’s Cadre of Clairvoyant Claptraps, and other bands.
